Camp Safety

Camp Carnage is intended to be a fun and thrilling overnight attraction guaranteed to scare the shit out of you. In order to make sure there are no real life threatening situations, we have policies in place to prevent possible dangerous situations and accidents.

Camp guests will encounter strobe lights, fog, scent and loud audio, water and air effects, climbing, rough and uneven terrain, steps up and down, steep inclines, pitch black darkness, latex, narrow spaces, bending/crawling, insect interaction and contact with actors who intend to scare you. This attraction is not recommended if you are wearing any form of case medical brace, using crutches, or have any type of physical limitations. If you are taking medication or using drugs of any type. Or if you suffer from Asthma, heart Conditions, Seizures or any other type of mental, physical, respiratory and or medical problems.


During Camp Carnage you may be handled, bound, hooded, or possible chained by our actors. You will experience strong verbal language and violent situations which may be considered offensive. This is all part of the Camp Carnage experience and for entertainment purposes only.


All participants must sign a waiver before participating in the event.


Restricted Items:

  • Illegal substances
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia including Marijuana
  • Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray, guns including open carry permit holders, fireworks, etc.)
  • Open Bottles / Containers
  • Pets (unless they are service animals – validation is required)
  • Massagers
  • Laser pointers and air horns
  • Glass, cans, cups or coolers
  • Markers, pens or spray paint


  • Large chains or spiked jewelry
  • No personal Tents or large umbrellas
  • Smoking cigarettes are prohibited in all areas of the camp except for one designated smoking area
  • Outside food or beverages (including alcohol, candy and other snack foods ‐ Snacks and concession items will be available for sale in the camp)

 What You Should Bring:

– Must Bring –

  • Your Ticket
  • Your Photo ID
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow


– Recommended Items to Bring –

  • Comfortable Shoes / Boots
  • At least three pairs of underwear (You’ll understand why)
  • Extra Socks, Shirts, Pants, etc
  • Blanket(s)
  • Headlamp / Flashlight
  • Baby Wipes
  • Fold up camping Chairs

Fires and Fire Pits:

Please note, Campers are not permitted to starting any sort of fires on the camp grounds. Fires started by event personnel are located in specific areas of the camp only.

Rules & Regulations:

  • Please do not touch, property, sets, lighting or other effects.
  • Actors may touch you. But you are unable to touch them.
  • Make sure you do not at any time cross the event boundary tape. This will be explained in orientation.
  • Do not bring anything of value. Event organizers will not be held liable for the loss of any items.
  • Do not bring/wear costumes, masks or fake weapons.
  • Event management must approve of commercial photography or videography on the premises.
  • Do not bring animals or pets of any type.
  • Tents are shared with four guests and cabins hold up to 14 guests. You will share a tent/cabin with others. To avoid this, purchase the entire tent/cabin or bring your friends!
  • All Tents are provided. Do not bring your own tents or camping equipment.
  • We do not supply pillows, sleeping bags, blankets, or flashlights.
  • Bathrooms are located in numerous places at the camp. Do not use a tree or bush.
  • There is no running at Camp Carnage. It is very dark and there are many tripping hazards in the woods.
  • The event will occur rain or shine. The majority of the event takes place outdoors. Be sure to dress with the weather in mind. Boots or other closed toe shoes are recommended.
  • No open flames are permitted unless in designated places which are started by camp staff.
  • Please report any suspicious activity to camp staff.
  • If you appear under the influence of alcohol or drugs, we will refuse admission to the event without a refund.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission if your behavior is perceived as threatening or if we have any reason to believe you pose a threat to other campers or our actors. In this instance, we will issue a refund of your admission price.
  • There is time for sleeping. However the screams will continue throughout the entire night. Please don’t expect the best sleep of your life. Remember, you’re at Camp Carnage.
  • Event organizers may not be held liable for any accident or incident that occurs during the event if you fail to follow instructions given by Camp Carnage staff or our event waiver which you sign upon arrival.
  • While we try to ensure all attractions, advertised features and entertainment options are available. We may, however, without prior notice and without refund cancel or suspend any feature due to reasons beyond our control.
  • Filmography and photographs may be taken during the event for marketing purposes. This may feature campers images. By purchasing a ticket, you give event organizers permission to use images you may be present in.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any event if circumstances beyond our control force us to. In the event of this happening you will be emailed and a full refund will be given.
  • You must bring your printed ticket or mobile ticket to Camp Carnage to be admitted into the event. Additionally, you can attend our gear pickup before the event to avoid wait times.
  • By purchasing a ticket for Camp Carnage Campout you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Additional Camp Policies:

  • NO re‐entry/ins & outs per day
  • All guests will be subject to a bag check
  • NO unauthorized/unlicensed vendors
  • NO unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways, etc
